| Karyn
Dobbie of Resume Design Studio is a seasoned executive in recruiting and human resources. She began
her work as a recruiter at a boutique staffing firm in Los Angeles, CA.
After reading thousands of resumes and interviewing hundreds of
candidates, Karyn honed her ability to understand the needs and
strengths of each individual. Additionally, she built relationships
with many companies around the city, recognizing their unique
requirements based on corporate goals and philosophies. Working as a
recruiter on behalf of these companies gave her first-hand insight into
the inner workings, culture and overall pulse of each organization.
All were vastly different.
Upon her departure from the agency side, Karyn went in-house to a media company, serving as the corporate Recruitment Manager. She was responsible for the sourcing and selection of candidates, as well as, collaboration with internal hiring managers. During her tenure, she was exposed to the 'behind the scenes' intricacies of human capital in a corporation.
